Wedding Style – The Short Wedding Dress
When most brides think of their wedding day, they imagine themselves walking down the aisle in a floor-length gown. Whether it’s decorated with beads, lace, feathers or nothing at all, long dresses have been the most popular choice by far.
At True Bliss Events, we are here to tell you long gowns are not the end-all when it comes to wedding dresses. Many designers are creating equally extravagant short and tea length dresses to make a bride’s wedding day complete.
If you’re planning a destination or more informal wedding, or if you’re on a tight budget, consider looking into shorter dresses. They can add spunk and flare to any ceremony, whether it’s at a plush resort or country farm. Also, in comparison to long wedding gowns, shorter dresses often cost less because not as much work or material goes into making them. If a short gown doesn’t tickle your fancy, consider them as an option for your rehearsal dinner or reception!Take a look at these cuties I found from Sarah Seven, Carol Hannah (Yes, THE Carol Hannah from Project Runway) and Elizabeth Dye!
