Honeymoon Attire

After spending weeks, months, or even years planning your wedding, the day is finally over and the honeymoon is on the horizon! But if you’re like most brides who have been consumed with final dress fittings and confirmation phone calls, selecting your honeymoon wardrobe hasn’t exactly been a top priority.

Whether the two of you plan on sunbathing on the beaches of Cabo San Lucas or navigating your way through Europe, your clothing selections should be weather-appropriate, fuss free and comfortable. Your new hubby will hate nothing more than seeing and hearing you complain about your pack job.

The honeymoon is the start of your lives together, so why not look fabulous in the gazillion pictures you’ll be taking together! You’ll be happy you put some thought into that ruffled bathing suit or flowered mini sundress. Here are some of my destination-influenced picks.

Hanging Loose in Hawaii:

Hawaii Dress – An exotic dress to dine in

Hawaii Bathing Suit- A girly way to tan on the tropical island

A Mexican Fiesta:

Mexico Blouse – Vibrant colors make this a perfect daytime look

Mexico Sandals – Easy to dance and walk in, these sandals just scream “Mexico!”

Backpacking Europe:

Europe Everyday Dress – An everyday dress when you’re on the move

Europe Flats – Comfortable and cute flats to walk the town in

Cruising the Caribbean:

Caribbean Romper – A perfect romper for the windy deck

Caribbean Bathing Suit – A classy way to sunbathe

Sweet, Tasteful and Sexy Lingerie After the Big Day

Everyone knows lingerie is a big part of the honeymoon. Everyone also knows there’s a fine line between classy and not so classy negliges.

Whether you want a feisty or sophisticated collection for the steamy nights ahead, make sure you A. feel sexy in what you’re wearing and B. your choices are a reflection of you. If you usually have more of an edge to you, your new hubby will be a little taken aback if you show up with pink frills and lace.

Here are some tasteful ways to be naughty and nice.

Wedding Style -Anthropologie & The Limited

If you’re as addicted to Anthropologie’s gorgeous clothes and accessories as I am, brace yourselves for the gossip I’m about to spill to you. The ever feminine, chic and fashion-forward store is apparently launching a bridal line that will knock our spring socks off! Yes, that’s right, a line full of heirloom wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, bridal accessories and gifts!

The unnamed bridal concept will launch as a Web site later this spring. Brides-to-be can make appointments at their local Anthropologie stores for fittings before the line makes an appearance in stores. Wedding gowns will allegedly retail for $750 to $5,000 and bridesmaid dresses will start at $200.  Ah, love.

The Limited, known for its budget-friendly and classic clothing, has also recently announced its bridal line, which will launch on the third of June. FYI, the dresses are not only ridiculously affordable, but elegant as well.

The line is small with only two gowns and two bridesmaid dresses, but take a peek at this beauty. Besides its gorgeous tiers, the best part is that it’s under $300! Stunning and cost-friendly? Yes please!

Wedding Style – The Groom, Part II

Along with groom attire comes the accessories worn by him and his groomsmen. I’m a sucker for small details and of course think little bonuses like these add style to any event.

A groom’s accessories can be as eccentric as Star Wars cufflinks or as traditional as his grandfather’s handkerchief. And although some may argue Star Wars cufflinks are the opposite of stylish, a groom’s accessories are about him and his personality, not about what’s “in” right now.

Take a look at how these grooms accessorized themselves.
